Gunu Sahni Label is a popular western wear brand launched by namesake Mumbai-based designer, Gunu Sahni. She has over 15 years of extensive design experience in the field of fashion, having worked closely with different designers renowned in the fashion industry including the esteemed Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. At the inception of her brand, she was committed to designing traditional Indian silhouettes with the emphasis on developing intricate and beautiful embroideries.

As the brand has grown over the last 8 years it has evolved entirely into a pret line with a twist. Gunu Sahni’s designs are unique and have captured a niche in the fashion industry. Her work highlights the use of intricate embroideries that the brand is well known for using in a creative manner on western silhouettes With her passion and attention for detail, she has created a brand that boasts fresh, stylish cuts with just the right amount of carefully placed embellishments resulting in high fashion at affordable prices.

When asked about the driving force behind her label, Gunu Sahni responded by telling us about her passion for her job. “I am a highly motivated and driven person and am very passionate about what I do. My constant aim with my brand is to dedicate myself to creating fashion-forward, high-quality clothing for women which is both innovative as well as easy on the pockets. I am always trying to come up with different and interesting collections which are as luxurious as any high-end designer or luxury brand collection. I aspire to make women feel happy and beautiful when they wear the clothes I design.”

The brand has grown from being known just for its revolutionary polo tees and embellished capes to now including tops, pants, jackets, skirts, fusion wear sarees, dresses and the most recent collection of tracksuits, which make every woman feel like a celebrity flaunting the now famous, “airport look!”
